Admission and Financing
The Admissions Team will help you verify whether you meet the requirements and will support you throughout every step necessary to become a PoliTO student. Here you can find a list of useful information about enrolling requirements and procedures:
Bachelor of Science
Entry requirements:
- High school diploma gained after minimum 12 years of previous education
- B1 Italian language proficiency (for Italian taught programmes) or B2 English language proficiency (for English taught programmes), both for mixed language programmes
- Selection through SAT, GRE, GMAT certificate or PoliTO admission test
Application Deadlines
- Calls for Admission available in December for the fall intake
- PoliTO admission test sessions from March to August
Application Fees
- FREE if selection through SAT, GRE, GMAT certificate
- 50 euros to register for PoliTO admission test
Master of Science
Entry requirements:
- Bachelor of science or 180 ECTS credits equivalent
- B1 Italian language proficiency (for Italian taught programmes) or B2 English language proficiency (for English taught programmes), both for mixed language programmes
- On-line application: the Academic Commission evaluates applicant’s quality and curricular requirements
Application Deadlines
- 2 Calls for Admission available from December to April

Cost of Living
Monthly budget of approximately €600: for accommodation, meals, telephone expenses and local transport.
Financial Aid
Politecnico di Torino offers multiple solutions of financial aid (some scholarships are awarded according to the students’ economic status and others according to the country of applicants):
- EDISU (Regional Agency for the Right to Education of Piedmont): scholarships and accommodation in student residences for Undergraduate and Postgraduate students. The benefits are awarded through a competition, held annually on the basis of specific financial and merit requirements.
- MAECI: Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Scholarships for international students or Italian students living abroad.
- INVEST YOUR TALENT: scholarships open to applicants coming from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Brazil, China, Colombia, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Mexico, South Korea, Tunisia, Turkey and Vietnam.
